Sculptural Furniture

KELPHONS — HAVANA 412

Born from a single slab of Cuban mahogany, HAVANA 412 embodies the union of material, time, and sculpture.

Measuring over four meters in length and naturally seasoned for more than seventy years in traditional woodworking studios, this piece remained untouched for decades, awaiting the moment it would finally become what it was always meant to be.

A wood now virtually impossible to obtain.
A material originating from the 19th century.

The slab originally arrived through the port of Bilbao and was preserved for more than forty years in the workshop of master cabinetmaker Justo Artieda Imaz. It later remained under the care and vision of sculptor, multidisciplinary artist, and cabinetmaker Eduardo Zubiria for more than three decades until its final transformation.

HAVANA 412 was conceived not merely as a table, but as a sculptural presence designed to interact with architecture, light, and space.

Its sculptural steel base is individually crafted for each owner and may be adapted aesthetically to the character and architectural environment of the client while preserving the original essence and proportions of the work.

No replica can ever exist.

Only one slab of this dimension and character exists.
Therefore, only one HAVANA 412 can ever be created.

One piece.
One work.
Irreplaceable.

Crafted exclusively by private commission for a singular owner.
